Licence de Navigation
The navigation license or titulín, as it used to be called before, is a permit that you can get in just 6 hours of training and that does not require passing any exam.
Enables for the government of pleasure boats of up to 6 meters in length and for coastal navigation at a maximum distance of 2 miles from the coast, during the day. In addition, with the new regulations published in Royal Decree 238/2019, it is established that with the obtaining of the Navigation License, jet skis can be carried without power limit.
Navigation License Atributions

UNTIL 6 METERS LENGTHThe Navigation License allows you to govern embarkments of a maximum of 6 meters in length.

UNTIL 2 MILES FROM THE COASTThe maximum distance allowed for going away from the coast with the Navigation License is 2 miles.

DAYTIME NAVIGATIONWith the Navigation License, it’s only allowed the daylight navigation

WITH NO POWER LIMITThe Navigation License doesn’t establish any power limit for boats or ski jets.

SKI JETSThe Navigation License enables it to govern every type of ski jet.
NAVIGATION LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
- Be older than 16 years old.
- Take a theory course of at least 2 hours duration
- Do 4 hours of basic practices of security and navigation
- Obtain a psycho-technical certificate.
