This viewpoint is the North part of El Hierro, in La Dehesa. From Basco’s viewpoint, you can see the magnitude of El Golfo’s valley. An elevated site and located inside of a Unesco Biosphere Reserve where you can see Sabinosa’s town and the impressing mass of the Tanganasoga volcano behind. There are days in which you can appreciate the profile of La Palma.

A stop inside of the rout until El Sabinar

A round balcony of volcanic rock protected by gates, formerly used for grazing. All the surroundings of the viewpoint are made up of a quirky nature and also drawn by the wind: inclined trees, rocks covered by lichen, and twisted junipers.
